Executive
Recruitment |
|
Any company wishing to recruit staff in another country faces a number of obstacles. It may well be completely unfamiliar with local law, salary levels, and with customs and practices. To overcome these difficulties it may well wish to employ the services of a recruitment consultant or agent, but even this choice has its hazards. EHRC's EuroSelect service provides a
single and professional standard of executive recruitment throughout
Europe which can be accessed and contracted in the client's own country.
If the client wishes, the local office of EHRC will handle all of the
administration of the assignment and act as the link with the EHRC office
in the country where the recruitment is being undertaken. Alternatively
the client can have direct contact with the EHRC office in the other
country. Every country in Europe has its own regulations and circumstances in this crucial area of employment. What salary levels to pay, what other benefits are expected and in what form should contracts of employment be drafted are questions which can only be answered with detailed local knowledge. For whole labour forces detailed help may
be required with the design and implementation of salary structures and
the introduction of job evaluation schemes. Whether it be Health &
Safety, minimum wages, overtime working or trade union recognition EHRC
can help clients observe the national laws applicable to their business. EHRC can provide multi-national training teams to match the make-up of their clients' management groups to arrange and deliver training programmes. Before any training is undertaken it is desirable to carry out a training needs analysis to identify which training will most benefit the company. Having identified the need, then equally critical is the selection of appropriate training solutions. EHRC can help companies identify suitable
providers for the specified training whilst at the same time ensuring that
the client receives good value for money. EHRC is a member of the European
Foundation for Quality Management which has developed the Business
Excellence Model. The Model is used to select the winners of the annual
European Quality Award; it is similarly used to select the winners of a
number of national awards. EHRC use the Business Excellence Model to help
its clients assess their performance against nine internationally
established TQM benchmarks. EHRC can also use the Model to help
multinational companies assess the relative performance of their
subsidiaries in different countries. |
